Job Title: Machine Operator Helper
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Machine Operator Helper to join our production team. As a Machine Operator Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our machine operators in the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities:
Assist machine operators in setting up machinery before production runs.
Feed materials into machines and ensure smooth processing.
Monitor production output and make adjustments as instructed.
Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with routine maintenance tasks under supervision.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Record production data accurately and maintain production logs.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Learn and develop skills to eventually progress to a machine operator role.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.
Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
Assisting with Machine Setup: Helping the machine operator in setting up machinery before production begins, which may involve loading materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are ready.
Material Handling: Transporting materials and components to and from the production area, ensuring they are correctly positioned for processing by the machine.
Machine Operation Assistance: Supporting the machine operator during the production process by feeding materials into machines, monitoring output, and making adjustments as instructed.
Quality Control Support: Assisting in quality checks and inspections by gathering samples, measuring dimensions, and visually inspecting products to ensure they meet specifications.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning of machinery and work areas, as well as assisting in basic maintenance tasks under supervision, such as lubrication or minor repairs.
Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any safety hazards.
