Responsibilities
Record, log, and maintain required maintenance reports and records.
Work from work orders, drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams in addition to written and
verbal instructions.
Install new or relocate existing machinery, equipment, and other accessories.
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic production, and service systems.
Tear down, troubleshoot faulty operation, repair, or replace worn or defective parts; reassemble
and adjust for proper operation.
Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, facilities; install switches, lighting
fixtures, replace fuses and faulty wiring.
Maintain and repair plumbing, roofs, floors, walls, and parking facilities.
Maintain grounds and keep outside facilities and structures in proper condition.
Repair plant and office structures, furnishings, and the like.
Use forklift, pulleys, and other lift equipment as necessary to move and position parts and
materials.
Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
Setup and operate mills, grinders, or drill presses, and other metal working tools to make and
repair parts.
Perform duties of electric/acetylene welding and torch cutting.
Observe all prescribed environmental, health, safety rules / regulations and maintain the work area
in a neat and orderly condition. Exercise proper care and safety in the use of power tools,
equipment, and materials.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
