A Westport company is seeking an experienced SOX and Revenue Analyst to join their team. Responsibilities will include ensuring that all established SOX policies and procedures are followed, as well as accurate revenue recording. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting and 5 plus years of relevant Accounting/SOX experience. The company offers a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. The position will pay $100-120K, depending on experience, with bonus potential. responsibilities:
Coordinate all SOX activities
Ensure that all teams are performing necessary compliance tests
Develop metrics to track SOX compliance.
Assist with SOX compliance audits.
Maintain and review customer data
Maintain pricing structures
Review and post purchase orders and invoices
Apply payments to account receivables.
Generate weekly account receivables reports
Partner with the sales team to ensure on time payments.
Project cash receipts and payments on a weekly basis
Monthly and quarterly reports to validate that forecasts align with contracts with respect to prices, volume incentives, and commissions.
Monthly variance analysis.
Process year-end customer incentives
Assist with quarterly and year end audits.
qualifications:
BS in Accounting
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting or in an accounting and compliance role.
Prior exposure to SOX
Strong analytical skills
Spanish a plus
