Randstad is looking for Warehouse Associates for the West Warwick area. The candidate will be versed in Forklift Operation, Loading and Unloading, Packaging, Inventory/cycle counts, material handling, and work in conjunction with the production team. Responsibilities
Supplying raw materials for each machine on a daily basis.
Work in the packaging department to ensure that the daily workflow is maintained between Production and Shipping Departments.
Ensure all areas have the required materials for efficient operation.
Unload shipments of materials from trucks, label, and move into designated areas.
Move any unused raw material back to the warehouse
Perform daily cycle counts of inventory items.
Quickly fullfill requests for raw materials.
Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and shipping area.
Communicate any issues or changes.
Operate pallet jacks and fork trucks.
Complete all paperwork per daily procedures
Maintain the work area to be clean and safe, following all safety standards and guidelines.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
