We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Permitting Specialist to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and expediting the process of obtaining permits and licenses required for various projects and operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and possess excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure timely approvals. Benefits:

salary: $18 - $25 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to permits and licenses applicable to specific projects.

  • Documentation Preparation: Prepare and assemble all necessary documents, forms, and applications required for permit submissions.

  • Submission and Follow-Up: Submit permit applications and ensure completeness and accuracy. Follow up with regulatory agencies to track the progress of applications and address any issues or discrepancies.

  • Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory agencies to gather information and resolve permit-related issues.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with permit conditions and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the status of permit applications, approvals, and any regulatory changes affecting ongoing projects.

  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance and support to project managers and stakeholders regarding permit requirements and processes.

  • Database Management: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals.

Skills

  • Permitting (3 years of experience is required)

  • Basic Software Skills

  • MS Office (2 years of experience is required)
