Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Outside Hardware Sales Representative with a strong background in general contracting, construction, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and the ability to read and understand blueprints. This role involves building relationships with general contractors, providing product consultations, and ensuring timely delivery of necessary items to job sites. Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general contracting, construction, or project management.
strong technical knowledge of hardware and construction materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary with commission starting at 6.5% after the first year.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and construction professionals.
Consult with clients to understand their project needs and recommend appropriate products.
Read and interpret blueprints to accurately identify required materials.
Visit job sites to uncover necessary items and provide timely solutions.
Ensure prompt and efficient delivery of products to job sites.
Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive engagement and excellent customer service.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings.
Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
