Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be experienced performing TIG and MIG welding operations on structural steel components according to blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures.
Fabricate and assemble structural steel components using various welding techniques, ensuring high-quality welds and structural integrity.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.
Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, torches, and plasma cutters, safely and efficiently.
Inspect welded joints and structures for quality, accuracy, and conformance to standards, making adjustments and repairs as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
Continuously improve welding techniques and skills through training, practice, and feedback.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
working weekends

Quality Control (3 years of experience is preferred)
Production Control (3 years of experience is preferred)
