Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will assist senior estimators in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that project budgets are maintained, and that projects are completed within financial constraints. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project). Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar) is an advantage.
Analytical Skills: strong mathematical and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational Skills: strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for various construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Data Collection: Gather and analyze data on labor, materials, and time requirements for construction projects.
Bid Preparation: Support the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents, ensuring all required information is accurate and comprehensive.
Vendor Liaison: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and pricing information.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of all estimates, proposals, and supporting documents.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop and refine project scopes and estimates.
Site Visits: Conduct site visits to gather essential information and assess conditions impacting cost.
Software Use: Utilize specialized software for cost estimating and project management.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, construction methods, and material costs.
