Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead and support various insurance and risk management functions, ensuring compliance within the construction industry. This role involves managing and reviewing compliance documentation, providing daily support for insurance functions, and advising internal and external stakeholders on construction insurance and risk management topics. The Compliance Manager will also assist with the annual insurance renewal process and manage broker and carrier relationships. If you have a strong background in insurance, surety, and construction risk management, and are adept at managing multiple projects and teams, we would like to hear from you. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive experience in insurance and surety, with a strong understanding of construction risk management and risk financing.
At least 5-8 years of experience in insurance and risk management, with more than 5 years in a managerial role.
Proficient in understanding and interpreting complex insurance and risk management concepts and policy language.
Skilled in solution-focused problem-solving and critical thinking, with the ability to consider varied perspectives.
Effective time management and project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects, deliverables, deadlines, and priorities.
Experienced in construction contract insurance and surety review, interpretation, and drafting.
Proficient in data analytics and Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, able to clearly explain insurance concepts, processes, and expectations.
strong ability to deliver timely, targeted, concise, and persuasive communication to leadership, and to analyze and summarize complex concepts.
Comfortable managing large data sets, creating charts/tables, and drawing conclusions from data.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and teams.
Excellent organizational, analytical, leadership, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and assist with property and casualty insurance, surety, subcontractor default insurance, and captive insurance.
Oversee and review compliance items such as licenses, W9s, and insurance certificates/endorsements submitted by subcontractors across all company projects.
Ensure proper tracking of compliance items by project personnel within the company's project management software.
Provide daily management and support for all insurance functions, including risk management, insurance, risk finance, captive insurance, and contractual risk transfer.
Act as a business partner advising internal and external stakeholders on construction insurance and risk management topics.
Support the CFO, VP of Legal and Business Affairs, the President of Commercial, and the President of Residential Divisions with insurance-related matters.
Identify and implement processes to enhance team efficiency.
Assist in the annual insurance renewal process for all lines of property and casualty, including casualty, equipment, builder's risk, pollution liability, professional liability, management liability, cyber, and related financial lines.
Manage and elevate the overall property and casualty insurance portfolio, including captive and affiliated companies.
Assist in the management of broker and carrier relationships.
