Randstad is currenlty working with a Manufacturing Company in the West Hartford, CT area. Our client is looking for talented Tool and Die Makers to join their team. If you have experience working as a Tool & Die Maker we would like to talk with you regarding this Direct-Hire/Permanent Opportunity! Details are below:
salary: $68,640 - $83,200 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
Building/repairing and troubleshooting of dies, experience and ability to work with progressive or transfer dies, the ability to work well in a team environment, the ability to provide detailed documentation on tooling issues and component prints, self motivation and excellent problem solving skills.
Fabricating a range of tools including but not limited to tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, metal machine parts, die parts, roll form tools, punches, form tools, cams, and special tools.
Performing precision grinding, boring, or polishing of special tools and dies.
Assembling manufactured parts into working production machines or machine subassemblies.
Using blueprints and specifications as well as verbal instruction to produce and assemble dies, machines, jigs and components.
Setting up and operating all applicable machine tools and hand tools.
Diagnosing and repairing production equipment and tools.
Performing setups on CNC equipment.
Programming by either CAD based or machine code programs.
Maintaining materials, tools and equipment in good repair and maintains orderly working condition
Performing all assignments with attention to quality standards of workmanship.
The essential functions of this role include:
