A well respected boutique law firm catering to tax-exempt / nonprofit organizations is seeking a Tax Law Attorney to join their team. In this role you will advise tax-exempt/nonprofit organizations with transactional matters. The first 90 days will be onsite, then work will be hybrid 2-3 days/week. Position requires: (A) an active license to practice in DC or the ability to waive in; (B) practice experience advising tax exempt organizations / nonprofits; (C) 6+ years of tax law practice experience, including experience with some of the following: contracts, leases, tax, charitable state registration, antitrust, corporate governance, corporate compliance, trademark, data protection, privacy, and employment law. Billable hour requirements: 140/month for 1680/year Position includes annual salary, bonus and excellent benefits. Shareholder Partner opportunity. This firm provides better work life balance and the opportunity to take on more responsibilities vs working at a large law firm.

Responsibilities
Advising on a range of transactional matters for nonprofit organizations. Primary focus is tax law (for nonprofit organizations).
