We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, performing tool changes, and ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety.
salary: $17 - $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Set up and operate various production machines according to established procedures and guidelines.
Monitor machine performance and production quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal output.
Tool Changes:
Perform tool changes on machinery as required to accommodate different production runs.
Ensure that all tool changes are executed accurately and efficiently to minimize downtime.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues to prevent production delays.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Document and report any inconsistencies or defects to the production supervisor.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and ensure safety guards are in place.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, and maintenance performed.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
