Shift: 7am – 4:30pm
*Availability to work overtime (until 7pm) and on weekends is required.
Pay: $20 - $23/hour (based on experience and qualifications). + Overtime.
Location: Temple, TX
What you will be doing:
The Shipping Coordinator will manage the inbound and outbound traffic operations, which include but are not limited to:
Office administrative duties in the areas of the finished goods warehouse, ingredient receiving and dock door management, including appointment scheduling.
Performing various SAP and Red Prairie functions: shipment confirmations, trailer dispatch, checking trailers and ingredients into the system on SAP, updates for invoicing as orders are picked up.
Weighing in trucks and managing load paperwork (if applicable).
Managing shipping updates communications to the shipping team.
Trailer Pool management.
Monitoring the shipping window, office phone system and inbound/outbound gates.
The right candidate will have:
Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping office coordination.
Working experience with JDA (freight management system) and SAP.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word.
Availability to work 12 hour shifts (overtime) and weekends as needed.
