A Litigation firm based in Tampa, FL is seeking a remote contract Litigation Paralegal to join their team! This role is fully remote, but the candidate must be living in FL. This role is an on-going contract role. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating court hearings, calendaring, making phone calls to judges, working on discovery issues (contacting opposing counsel for updates), E-filing in state and federal court. Responsibilities
Candidate tasks include coordinating hearings & setting them on calendar, making phone calls to judges, work on discovery issues (contacting opposing counsel for updates), E-filing in state and federalc court. CMECF is the softwre for E-filing in Federal court. PACER will be used for federal cases. Clio software will also be used for billing.
