We are looking for a skilled Bus Driver who will be responsible for operating buses and transporting passengers safely to their destinations. In this position, you will be expected to maintain a clean and mechanically sound vehicle, follow traffic rules and regulations, and provide excellent customer service to passengers.
salary: $38,000 - $44,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining services in compliance with DOE objectives as well as all relevant guidelines, codes, and regulations; and supervising and directing assigned staff.
Supervise the transportation bus fleet for vehicle maintenance.
Daily internal and external communication with vendors and coworkers.
Supervision and scheduling all drivers and monitors.
Knowledgeable of all Federal, State, and local policies and regulations for school transportation.
Assist with Pre-Planning in-service training program and new driver orientation.
Communicate with the highway department, law enforcement personnel, and the Transportation Director regarding accidents, routes, road conditions/hazards, and road work/closures.
Maintain logbook program for each vehicle to record day-to-day operations (fuel, mileage, inspections, repairs, bus rotation, spare bus check in/out, and bus cleanliness.
Supervise Fleet for accident/breakdown procedures and safety.
Communicate with Principals, Teachers, and Parents daily regarding disciplinary issues, and complaints as warranted.
