job summary:
This contract-only position is for a Java Application Developer who will be part of a team accountable to achieve exceptional service functionality as part of the SAP Financial Product Ecosystem team. The team supports core account processes and systems that integrate with accounting and financial reporting. The project will involve rewriting data flows in and out of the ERP.

responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Collaborate with Product Owners, System Architect, and business partners to identify and elicit technology needs and work with the scrum team on identifying solutions.
Help the Product Owner document the technology needs and acceptance criteria in user story format.
Be an advocate for quality and testing on the agile team, ensuring content is testable.
Develop and maintain technical and end user oriented documentation of system and business processes.
Grow and maintain knowledge of products, plans, business processes, and system applications.
Build and maintain business knowledge and strong relationships with team members, business users, other Securian teams, auditors, and vendors to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.
Assist with batch process resolution and escalations for the finance ecosystem to include setting up new jobs, updating jobs, and providing troubleshooting / root cause analysis.
