Temporary Administrative Assistant – Procurement/Financial Department

Are you an Excel expert with a passion for data and numbers? We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Temporary Administrative Assistant to join our team for a 4-6 week assignment in a highly valued organization's procurement and financial department located in St Augustine. This can be a hybrid work-model but you MUST reside in Florida with the ability to commute to St Augustine as needed. This is an ASAP start.

What You'll Do:

  • Manipulate and analyze data using advanced Excel skills.

  • Generate reports and support the department in data management.

  • Reconcile invoices and purchase orders.

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks to support the department.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our procurement and financial department. This role is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable working with data and utilizing Microsoft Excel to perform tasks such as data manipulation, reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will be able to work independently with little to no training, handling multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and manipulation tasks using Microsoft Excel.

  • Generate reports and analyze financial and procurement data.

  • Maintain and update databases and records related to procurement and financial activities.

  • Assist in reconciling invoices and purchase orders.

  • Support the department in daily administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and correspondence.

  • Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments as needed.

  • Provide additional administrative support as required by the department.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation techniques.

  • strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Prior experience in a procurement or financial department is preferred but not required.
