A Construction Inspector is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Spring Valley, NY area. This position entails overseeing construction projects in electric utility areas, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards, while maintaining accurate records and possessing strong organizational and managerial skills.

responsibilities:
Emphasis on electric installations, plastic pipe installation, welding, steel pipefitting
Oversee projects: Overhead/Underground Electric Transmission, Substation, Distribution, Environmental, Facilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously from design to final closeout
Possess managerial skills, computer literacy, utility industry knowledge
Inspect work by construction contractors for adherence to company specifications and safety standards
Read and interpret drawings, maps, plans, specifications, and procedures
Maintain accurate field records including daily job reports, material usage, and field test records
Knowledgeable in OSHA requirements
Ensure job sites meet or exceed safety and environmental policies
strong organizational skills for daily paperwork and documentation with comprehension of construction units of measurement
Required Skills You'll Bring:
High school diploma and work experience
Minimum 3 years experience in excavation, road, or utility construction
Oversee construction projects in various electric utility areas
Possess a valid driver's license
