We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving worker for a manufacturing company in Southington, CT. This is a 1st shift, full time, direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be someone who has some experience working in Shipping and Receiving, doing packing, preparing skids, and handling paperwork/documentation for freight companies such as UPS, Fed Ex, and DH.
salary: $41,600 - $52,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Work with small parts
Package parts, prepare skids for shipment
Arrange pickups with freight companies, UPS, Federal Express and DH
Prepare packing slips, certificate of compliance documents and other paperwork required
Experience with international shipping is a plus
Assist other shipping/receiving clerk
Lifting up to 50 pounds at times
The essential functions of this role include:
