salary: $23 - $28 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.) to perform machining operations according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders.

• Programming: Interpret technical drawings and program machines using CAM software or manual coding (G-code) to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances.

• Quality Assurance: Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to tooling, programming, or machine malfunctions to maintain production efficiency and quality.

• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure they operate effectively and safely.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, adjustments made, and parts produced, adhering to documentation standards.

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, including engineers and supervisors, to optimize production processes and resolve technical issues.

• Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce cycle time, and minimize waste.

The essential functions of this role include:
