Are you an experienced Plant Manager looking for a new opportunity? Then this may be the one for you! Randstad is currently recruiting for a client located in Sandersville, Ga. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in engineering, textile technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonwovens manufacturing management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team within the context of nonwovens manufacturing. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement in nonwovens manufacturing processes. Knowledge of nonwovens manufacturing processes, including but not limited to meltblown, spunbond, and airlaid technologies. Familiarity with quality management systems specific to nonwovens manufacturing and experience implementing quality control measures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems relevant to nonwovens production. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities within the dynamic field of nonwovens manufacturing. Certification in production and inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus.

salary: $85,000 - $150,000 per year

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of production staff, including operators, technicians, & quality control personnel, in the production of nonwoven materials; Develop & implement strategies to maximize production efficiency, minimize waste, & reduce manufacturing costs while ensuring product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations; Ensure compliance with all safety regulations specific to nonwovens manufacturing & promote a culture of safety awareness among all employees; Monitor production schedules & adjust resources as needed to meet customer demand while optimizing machine utilization and minimizing downtime; Collaborate with other departments, such as research & development, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of production activities with overall company objectives; Conduct regular performance evaluations & provide coaching & training to team members to enhance skills & foster professional growth; Implement & maintain lean manufacturing principles specific to nonwovens manufacturing to optimize workflow & minimize waste generation; Oversee maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance programs & equipment repairs, to ensure optimal performance of production machinery and minimize disruptions; Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, including production output, quality metrics, and safety statistics, and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
