We are seeking an experienced Sr. Infrastructure Systems Analyst to oversee and optimize our 24/7 IT hardware and system availability at our fully automated port. This role involves working closely with the Senior Infrastructure Engineer to drive modernization, standardization, and cyber security initiatives, while implementing an ITSM-based support model to meet the demands of our automation environment.

responsibilities:

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of IT with infrastructure platform executables and upgrades.

  • Implement and manage IT infrastructure changes in an operating facility.

  • Oversee IT service delivery for end-user computing, network, and compute.

  • Act as the primary point of contact with contractors and experts to standardize local hardware platforms ensuring alignment with global standards.

  • Drive cyber security compliance and excellence for the terminal in alignment with regional strategy.

  • Ensure robust business continuity processes and disaster recovery plans for the terminal.

  • Achieve agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Share best practices and leverage synergies across regional terminals.

  • Build excellent IT service management and IT infrastructure skills within the local IT team.

  • Effectively communicate within the IT team for alignment and to reach agreement on conflicting priorities.

  • Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and patching schedules.

  • Maintain 24x7 network and automation monitoring services.

  • Advise on new technology innovations in the network and virtualization domains.

  • Support Data Center and server management processes to ensure high availability.

  • Adopt and implement the latest Data Center management techniques as part of the modernization agenda.

  • Interface with the automation team to guide hardware fixes from the terminal infrastructure landscape.

  • Contribute to troubleshooting major incidents and support root cause analysis.

Necessary Requirements:

  • Education: University degree or higher vocational degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Infrastructure management and complex network platforms implementation. Minimum of 5 years in related project handling/coordination and process documentation. Operational Technology hardware and integration experience is essential.

  • Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco hardware, implementation, and support. CCNA required; CCIE preferred.

  • Basic understanding of PLCs (Siemens, TIA Portal, ladder logic, ST, FBD, SFC).

  • Platforms, Networking, and protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, Profibus, ProfiNET, ASI, CAN-Bus).

  • Wireless connectivity and LTE environments understanding.

  • Application lifecycle and IT Service Management concepts.

  • ITIL V4 Certification recommended.

  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement/LEAN/Six Sigma.

  • Leadership and management skills to lead infrastructure teams and vendors.

  • Advanced data analysis skills.

  • Familiarity with the terminal operating model.

  • Agile principles and methods experience.

  • Industry Experience: Shipping/Logistics, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Automation, Airport, Cisco, Amazon, Large Industrial Warehouses/Production environments.

  • Certifications: TWIC card eligibility.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a drug screen (Zero Tolerance policy).

  • Must be flexible for occasional weekend or evening work.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
