We are seeking experienced, motivated, and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Stocking:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Unload, label, and store materials in appropriate storage areas.
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventory.
Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick, pack, and process orders for shipment.
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
Comply with warehouse operational policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Data Management:
Enter and manage inventory data using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Track and document the arrival, storage, and distribution of materials.
Prepare reports on inventory levels, costs, etc.
Team Collaboration:
Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet departmental goals.
Assist in training new warehouse employees.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
