Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

  • Perform various tests and measurements using precision tools and equipment to verify product integrity, functionality, and performance.

  • Document inspection results, test data, and quality metrics accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Identify and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities to the appropriate personnel for corrective action.

  • Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive measures.

  • Participate in quality audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in quality assurance, or a related field; relevant certifications or training may be considered.

  • Proven experience in quality control inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Knowledge of quality control methods, techniques, and tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and discrepancies accurately.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound judgments based on data and evidence.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality requirements clearly.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements is a plus.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
