Responsibilities:
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Perform various tests and measurements using precision tools and equipment to verify product integrity, functionality, and performance.
Document inspection results, test data, and quality metrics accurately and in a timely manner.
Identify and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities to the appropriate personnel for corrective action.
Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Participate in quality audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
Qualifications:
Experience in quality assurance, or a related field; relevant certifications or training may be considered.
Proven experience in quality control inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Knowledge of quality control methods, techniques, and tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and discrepancies accurately.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound judgments based on data and evidence.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality requirements clearly.
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements is a plus.
salary: $18 - $20 per hour
