Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts and components at various production stages using precision measuring instruments.
Verify product dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, and other specifications as per engineering drawings and blueprints.
Identify and document non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality standards, and initiate corrective actions.
Collaborate with production personnel to address quality issues and provide guidance on corrective measures.
Perform incoming inspections of raw materials to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including measurements and test data.
Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and initiatives.
Participate in internal audits and process improvement activities.
Qulifications:
Required: Experience with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software.
5+ years of experience as a quality inspector in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as AS9100
