We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can handle the intricacies of payroll processing efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees using our payroll system.
Verify timekeeping records and ensure accuracy of hours worked, overtime, and paid time off.
Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, insurance premiums, retirement contributions, and garnishments.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters, including pay discrepancies and tax withholdings.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and finance departments.
Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
Assist in the preparation of payroll-related documents for audits and regulatory compliance.
salary: $28 - $30 per hour
