job description

Quality Assurance Analyst

job summary:

Quality Assurance Analyst,

Responsible for examining and analyzing complex legal documentation and/or files to ensure compliance with internal company requirements and/or agency or government regulations. Clearly communicates feedback to appropriate contacts regarding identified material deficiencies or issues including identification of inconsistencies.

Required: 4+ years experience in one or more of the following: quality assurance related to loan documentation, real estate documentation, or oil/gas/mineral asset documentation.

Position requires someone who is extremely detail oriented and precise, and who will not be overwhelmed by having to scan through thousands of pages of legal documents (such as land titles) to validate clear ownership of assets.

Tedious work with a need for high quality/accuracy, as this is a compliance mandated exercise. Must be able to work mostly independently and proactively identify/escalate issues, as well as interface with senior asset managers;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed. This position is within the Oil, Gas and Mineral (OGM) Management group so background in that field would be a slight plus, but isn't specifically needed. Job entails reviewing titles, not technical understanding of the OGM business.
