job summary:
A Mechanical Construction Engineer is needed to lead mechanical building system startups and commissioning activities. The successful candidate will be an expert in reviewing product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, and engineering design documents. This role involves coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure project milestones and safety standards are met.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of construction management experience, particularly in industrial construction and mechanical systems design. Experience in the industrial construction is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, with familiarity in Bluebeam and AutoCAD being advantageous. Our client is seeking local candidates only. This role may require overtime based on project status.

Facilitate mechanical building system startups and commissioning activities
Review and provide feedback on product submittals, shop drawings, and design specifications.

Conduct continuous inspections of work progress and quality standards
Support schedule coordination, quality confirmations, and utility outage planning
