Responsibilities
. Set up and operate a CNC controller to input information into a hydraulic press to produce conforming parts. 2. Select correct tooling for the job task using standard and custom punches. 3. Load, install and correctly set up the tools. 4. Adjust ram and back gauge locations to achieve desired results. 5. Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring instruments. 6. Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints. 7. Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations. 8. Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system. 9. Ability to follow verbal and work instructions from shop floor paperwork and complete and maintain paperwork as required. 10. Ability to perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures. 11. Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance. 12. Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues. 13. Maintain performance log books on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to the maintenance team. 14. Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level. Attention to detail and pride in workmanship are key to success strong work ethic required to be successful Ability to lift 50 lbs.
