job summary:

Our client, a leader in the terminal and petroleum space, is seeking an experienced EI&C Engineer to add to the team in Roswell, GA. Must have a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar. This position will be focused on commissioning the integration of HMI and PLC development. Must be familiar with PLC Coding (allen bradley, rockwell, GE software, emerson, fanuc) and HMI Design( Wonderware).

Must haves:

  • Project management experience

  • Experience with oil and gas industry, pipeline, refinery, petrochemical highly preferred

  • Wastewater industry preferred

  • Knowledge of pumps, meters and pressure transmitters

  • Setting up power stations- medium voltage- preferred- MCC's

  • Instrumentation and controls engineering experience

  • Hands on PLC/HMI/SCADA programming experience

responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, maintain and commission a variety of control systems.

  • Develop scopes of work, cost estimates and budgets for projects.

  • Support, maintain, and modify existing SCADA controls centers and HMI Stations.

  • Coordinate with internal design/drafting functions and third party support firms.

  • Prepare bid documents and coordinates with Purchasing Department from the bidders and vendors

  • Manage, direct, coordinate and expedite construction and maintenance projects at terminals and pipeline facilities.

  • Create project schedules and project execution through project lifecycle

  • Oversee and execute start-up activities of terminal, pipe, and pipeline projects

  • Provide initial instruction for operations personnel on new and upgraded controls system equipment

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards for all construction and maintenance projects and conducts contractor safety meetings

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

  • Provides operation support during system startup and troubleshooting
