THIS JOB WILL BE LOCATED IN WELDON/ ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC AREA Are you an experienced with Maintenance Technician? Are you seeking a direct hire opportunity with competitive benefits package which includes coverage for medical, vision, dental with extension to your family? Would you be excited to work in a manufacturing environment? We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician skilled more so on the electrical side of maintenance to work in a manufacturing facility where safety and performance are their #1 priorities.
salary: $56,000 - $66,560 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the scheduled, unscheduled and preventative maintenance and repair of a wide variety of blown film manufacturing and packaging equipment requiring a strong mechanical skills base to include: hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyor systems and PLC usage
Requirements
Electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
Skills
Mechanical Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)
Electrical (2 years of experience is required)
Blueprint Reading (2 years of experience is required)
Manufacturing (3 years of experience is required)
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
