Quality Technicians are responsible for activities associated with the development and maintenance of quality standards for all processes. They assist with the administration of the quality management system including the planning, reporting, and evaluation on all aspects of quality from conception through manufacture, storage, delivery, and communication with the customer. The desired output is to satisfy the customer by providing the highest quality product, at the lowest cost, on time, in the safest way possible.
salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Support various functional areas regarding process control and improvements
Lead problem solving efforts including internal and external audits
Support purchasing to ensure specifications are met
Assist with training quality control team in root cause and statistical analysis, data analysis, CMM use and other quality standards
Develop, implement and maintain process controls
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 4 hours at one time
