Randstad Federal is seeking a Servicenow Developer in support of a federal program supporting NRC

location: RESTON, Virginia

job type: Contract

salary: $75 - 85 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer who will:

Perform day-to-day support and maintenance, work with the functional team to develop solutions in ServiceNow and coordinate support and development efforts within the admin team.
Provide general support, administration and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications
Work closely with ServiceNow functional team to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes from the customer to the fulfillment teams.
Configure and improve core and custom applications by working closely with ServiceNow functional team
Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow
Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
Develop systems integrations and process automation
Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each.
Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow
Configure and manage Discovery
Lead team in application and platform upgrades
Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems
Create ServiceNow reports and dashboards

Additionally, the ideal candidate can:

Work independently, be a self-starter, and able to operate in a proactive way
Deliver excellent oral and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills; logical thinker and intellectual curiosity

Required Qualifications

US Citizenship
Ability to pass a federal background check successfully and maintain eligibility for continued access authorizations, including periodic drug screenings, granted by such a successful background check
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years ServiceNow development experience
strong JavaScript, XML, and HTML skills and familiarity with LDAP, MS Active Directory, and ADFS
Proven experience implementing and customizing a web architected, n-tiered enterprise application
Proven experience implementing integrations of enterprise software systems
Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production
Must be technically savvy and able to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience
