We are urgently looking for a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler to play a vital role for a coffee manufacturing company! We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to assemble mechanical parts, pieces, or products using various tools and equipment. If you enjoy working with your hands, want to grow and stay long term, and loves to stay productive, we want to hear from you!
salary: $47,840 - $58,240 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
Mechanical Assembler job summary:
Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
● Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
● Utilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun
● Performing soldering, which is the process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal (solder) into the joint
● Maintain inventory of product in work stations
● Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
● Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
● Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
● Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
● Maintain a clean and safe work area
The essential functions of this role include:
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
Skills
Mechanical Assembling (1 year of experience is preferred)
Blueprint Reading (1 year of experience is preferred)
computer skills
