Randstad is seeking experienced Fabricators for the Providence Area. The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in fabrication. Other skills include: Brake Press, tube rolling, welding, and shear operation, working with sheet metal, use of computers and computer controlled machines, blueprint reading, measuring, math and calculation, metric conversions, and precision measuring devices. Responsibilities
Fabrication of sheet metal products per specifications. Fabrication and Mechanical Aptitude.
Experience in operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment, such as: brake press, tube rolling machines, welder and shears.
Ablility to work with hands, and have good dexterity whether manipulating components or using controls on an assembly or machine.
Ability to effectively use precision measuring equipment such as: tape measure, calipers, micrometers, gauges
Requires ability to lift heavy objects during the fabrication/assembly process up to 75 pounds
Position requires being on your feet for long periods of time and performing repetitive motions.
Ability to interpret blueprints, manuals, and diagrams.
Ability to work with computers, metal working machines, and motion-control equipment.
Detail oriented along with positive attitude.
-Ability to function in a team-oriented environment
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 75lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
