An Electrical Construction and Commissioning Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in Evansville, IN area. The Electrical Construction and Commissioning Engineer will oversee electrical building system startups, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and ensure compliance with safety standards and industry codes.
Qualified candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in construction management. Candidates should possess expertise in electrical system design, start-up and commissioning of industrial manufacturing environments.
This is a long-term contract role slated to last 12+ months, and a monthly living allowance can be budgeted for non-local candidates.

responsibilities:
Facilitate electrical building system startups and commissioning activities
Provide expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, drawings, and specifications
Coordinate equipment testing, delivery, and installation with contractors and vendors
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes
Oversee the work of electrical contractors and provide progress reports to Project Managers
Communicate technical matters effectively in both written and verbal formats
