job summary:
Geotechnical Engineer/Manager located in Portland, OR for a leading organization. This role is responsible for the management of the branch providing geotechnical engineering services. To be considered - must have a Civil Engineering Degree and Registered as a Professional Engineer in any State (preferably WA or OR).

Experience in geotechnical engineering/consulting
Registered as a Professional Engineer in any State (preferably WA or OR)

Responsible for the management of the geotechnical engineering services
Provides geotechnical engineering support
Manages personnel resources through hiring, training, and development
Conducts client management and business development activities.
Develops and fosters client relationships by attending industry events
Develops new opportunities within the geotechnical service line
Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for task assignments
The essential functions of this role include:
