job summary:
Growing manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Certification Engineer. This position will be located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Certification Engineer will review and develop technical documentation and specifications for regulatory authorities, customers, and internal requirements for certification activities.
Salary is commensurate with experience ranging up to $80K, plus relocation, and other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

responsibilities:
Develop and release test plans and reports for product compliance for DO-160, SAE AS8049 and FAA AC 20- 146A type programs
Review and sign-off Engineering drawings with proper verification of compliance
Coordinate and oversee testng to support cerfication programs
Perform failure investigation and support redesign activities as required
