Responsibilities

  • Develops production schedules with the Director of Operations; plans, directs, and assigns duties for manufacturing personnel.

  • Recruits, hires, and trains employees; conducts safety orientations and meetings; ensures compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Coordinates with the Engineering Manager to develop manufacturing methods, processes, tooling, and molds for new products.

  • Oversees functions including receiving components, inventory control, production, and quality checks; ensures compliance with regulations and good manufacturing practices.

  • Troubleshoots production problems; ensures machinery, equipment, and facilities are maintained; reports issues to the Director of Operations.

  • Drives manufacturing performance by directing APO production to meet schedules, ensuring customer satisfaction and high plant efficiency.

  • Provides plant floor supervision and leadership to ensure compliance with company quality standards.

  • Manages, coaches, motivates, trains, and assesses production and operations employees' performance; organizes actions for improvement.

  • Performs other manufacturing duties as required.

The essential functions of this role include:
