job summary:
Join a top Engineering firm in Phoenix, AZ as a Senior Structural Designer. Required: Bachelor's Degree in drafting or related field with 7 years exp, or Associate Degree with 8 years, or 9 years progressive detailing/design exp. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel. Responsibilities include performing detailed construction drawings, conducting design layouts and calculations, and collaborating effectively within project teams.

responsibilities:
Perform detailed construction drawings for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Execute design layout and calculations on non-routine assignments.
Design structural elements and details using CAD software.
Prepare and interpret structural calculations and design codes.
Review and revise design drawings within project scope, budget, and schedule.
Incorporate schedules, budgets, and project criteria into structural layouts.
Organize and maintain project drawings and related documentation.
Collaborate with project team members on various project phases and assignments.
Perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling tasks using engineering standards.
Provide redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures.
