Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor who is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives on solving tough problems? Do you also have experience leading a group of technicians? We are looking for an individual to champion the quality of our products using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects. If you are looking to stand out in your field this may be the opportunity for you.
salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 2 AM

Responsibilities
Quality Control Management: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the consistent production of high-quality food products.
HACCP Compliance: Ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and oversee the development and implementation of HACCP plans.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with all relevant food safety regulations and ensure that the facility operates in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and safety of incoming raw materials and ingredients.
Training and Development: Train and mentor quality assurance team members on best practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance Audits: Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality control procedures, test results, and compliance records.
Product Testing and Analysis: Coordinate product testing and analysis activities, including microbiological testing, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life studies.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
manual lifting up to 40lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
