An international insurance organization has an immediate need for an insurance defense attorney with insurance defense experience licensed in Florida. Work is hybrid with some in-office and some remote. The office is located in Orlando, so candidates MUST be in the Orlando area. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) temporary role approved for 3 months in duration with the potentail for an extension.

Job Requirements of an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney: (a) An active license (in good standing) to practice law in Florida. (b) Five or more years of insurance defense experience. (c) strong writing and communication skills.

In this role you will be working on defending personal injury cases, specifically, defense of auto accidents (BI and UM), first party property homeowner claims, commercial auto, slip and fall. This includes writing reports, taking and defending depos, attend mediation and hearings, etc. Paperless office that uses Legal Files Case Management software so you need to be very comfortable with technology including Microsoft products.
