In this exciting role, you'll be the right hand to our experienced flavorists, playing a vital role in the creation of delicious flavor profiles for a variety of food and beverage products. You'll gain valuable experience in the world of flavor development, assisting with tasks that range from meticulous weighing and mixing to sensory evaluation and documentation.
Responsibilities:
Assist Flavorists in the formulation and preparation of flavor samples by accurately measuring and weighing ingredients according to established recipes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and handling of flavor ingredients.
Conduct basic laboratory tasks, such as calibrating equipment and recording data.
Participate in sensory evaluation panels, providing feedback on taste, aroma, and mouthfeel of flavor samples.
Assist with maintaining and updating flavor creation documentation.
Stay up-to-date on flavor trends and new ingredient developments.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred, but strong passion for food and flavors is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen sense of taste and smell.
strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of laboratory procedures a plus.
Willingness to learn and grow in the field of flavor development.

Responsibilities
Compound formulas at a reliable and precise level for internal use and submission to clients. Understand functionality, organoleptic qualities, and solubilities of flavor materials. Able to creatively develop flavors per customer descriptions and analytical reports. organizational skills to handle a large workload with shifting priorities. Maintain, manage, and coordinate shipment of flavor samples. Manufacture products according to special instructions. Prioritize safety in working with all flavor materials. Maintain and organize raw material library. Acquire a perfect understanding of the market and its key categories.
The essential functions of this role include:

Compounding (2 years of experience is required)
Chemistry (2 years of experience is required)
Sensory Testing (1 year of experience is preferred)
