We are seeking a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in CT. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to produce precision parts and instruments. Your role will involve interpreting technical drawings, setting up machines, and monitoring the machining process to ensure adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities
Machine Setup: Configure and set up CNC machines according to specifications provided in technical drawings and job orders. This includes loading materials, selecting appropriate tools, and programming machine parameters.
Programming: Develop and modify CNC programs using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software based on engineering drawings and blueprints. Ensure programs are optimized for efficiency and accuracy.
Operation: Operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, or grinders to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, or grinding. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to design specifications and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy and precision.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged components as needed.
