This job requires heavy lifting, forklift experience, and must be able to work in non climate controlled conditions! salary: $40,560 - $40,560.01 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

The Blend Tech needs to be comfortable with heavy lifting and the dusty (talc) environment.

  • Ensure all materials to be used for blending are correct according to recipe, and that they are free of any contaminants

  • Properly stage material for intermediate blending, pre- and post-blends, and drying

  • Prepare blends based on priority, following the schedule prepared by supervision.

  • Communicate with other departments/Management as needed to address issues as needed

  • Track inventory movements, via scanning system, and fill out all control forms to ensure traceability is maintained. Issue materials to jobs as necessary to complete inventory transactions. Follow all JWI's to ensure proper scanning and inventory control.

  • Confirm OSM materials (pre- or post-blend, dried) are not contaminated with unintended product

  • Confirm equipment is clean and not contaminated

  • Load and unload trailers as required to keep the area organized and material moving to correct locations

  • Organization, and staging, of OSM, for utilization into production process

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area to ensure a safe, non-contaminated work place

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
