Highly reputable transportation compnay based in Murfreesboro, TN is currently looking for an experienced, dynamic Receivables Analyst to analyze and seek resolution on issues surrounding the collection of freight invoices. If your previous work experience is in line with the expectations our client is looking for, then we would love to speak with you!
salary: $21 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Full-Time hourly position – reports to the Accounts Receivable Leader
Responsible for the collections on a variety of accounts including contract locations, Interactive Logistics loads, and equipment invoices
Should keep the past due receivables at a level at or below the set goal
Running daily/weekly queries in Workday to determine which accounts need attention
Analyzing open invoices, making appropriate notes in Workday and working each open invoice to resolution within the time frame set up by the AR Leader
Sending out monthly Open Invoice Listings on each of the assigned accounts
Working with both fleet and customer to resolve issues – including rate disputes, missing paperwork, etc.
Completing TMW (Billing system) Adjustments as needed in order to correct invoices that may have been entered incorrectly
Identifying items that may need to be written off and providing appropriate backup to the AR Leader to resolve
Working credit memos to resolution with the customer and setting up refunds when necessary
Using TMW invoicing and dispatch software when additional research is needed
