If you have shipping and receiving experience, excellent computer skills and a desire to be part of a dynamic team, look no further! We are seeking a Traffic Coordinator/Logistics Coordinator for a temp to hire opportunity in Mt. Juliet, TN. The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter who wants to grow with a great company. It is a fully onsite Monday- Friday 8am-5pm position with overtime possible on Saturdays.
salary: $35,000 - $40,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Liaison with the Operations team
Maintain logs of carrier pickups/departing trucks
Create BOLs for departures and distribute
Build loads and send rate confirmations to carriers; take photos of loads
Manage data for moving freight into the web based system
Schedule pick-ups and deliveries with carriers / dispatch to insure timely departures
Complete an end of shift turnover to recap daily activities and to advise of what to expect for the following shift
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
