We are searching for the right Quality Inspector to work at a dynamic, growing company based in Minneapolis that designs, produces, and distributes industrial pumps and fluid handling equipment. JOIN THIS GROWING and COMMITTED TEAM! Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday Pay: $27-$39/hr Depending on Experience Benefits include: medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, short- and long-term disability, life insurance and more

Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage the disposition of rejected materials to ensure compliance with quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of rejection and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate records of rejected materials and associated actions taken
Material Review Board (MRB)
Facilitate MRB meetings to review and analyze non-conforming products or materials
Work closely with production and engineering teams to determine appropriate dispositions for non-conforming items
Document MRB decisions and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
Calibration System Management
Perform and oversee equipment and tool calibration activities to maintain accuracy and reliability
Develop and maintain a calibration schedule for all relevant tools and equipment
Ensure compliance with calibration standards and documentation requirements
Conduct product inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
Collaborate with production teams to address and rectify any identified quality issues
Utilize inspection tools and equipment to ensure precision and accuracy
First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
Coordinate and conduct First Article Inspections to validate manufacturing processes
Review supplier FAI reports to ensure conformance to requirements
Work with engineering teams to address any discrepancies identified during FAI
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Facilitate the preparation and submission of PPAP documentation
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes

CMM (1 year of experience is required)
