RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY

This position is responsible for managing overall programs of small to medium scope or a subsection of a large-scale program. The Program Manager provides leadership to cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for new product development, commercialization of new products -. This position is responsible for managing resources to ensure that programs meet milestones and deliverables. The Program Manager -represents the core team to the organization, external partners, reports team progress, program recommendations and resolution of issues.

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES/DUTIES

  • Develops detailed plans in alignment with strategic objectives of the program, including master schedules, budgets, program milestones, and key program tasks and deliverables

  • Provides guidance and direction to core team as necessary to define clear goals and to evaluate progress

  • Identifies and assists in clearing barriers to effective progress

  • Resolves program resource issues and facilitates reallocation of activities and efforts to ensure schedules are achieved

  • Conducts financial evaluation of programs.

  • Facilitates all core team meetings and tracks progress against the project plan - Complies with US FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes and task assignments.

  • Maintains positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors and vendors

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position may require business travel.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience leading broad, multi-disciplinary teams, in a medical device industry

  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects and programs

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex business and technical aspects of small to medium scale development programs

  • strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results

  • strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable

  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment - Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment - Advanced verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at

multiple levels in the organization, including presenting to senior management. - Experience with implantable and connected systems

  • Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.

  • Managed integration of multiple subsystems as part of a connected medical device program, including cloud/mobile applications/embedded systems.

  • Preferable Class III medical device product development experience

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in related Engineering discipline

  • Broad, multi-disciplinary technical knowledge in on the medical device industry

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross functional business preferred
