We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely delivery and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have solid organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for logistics and supply chain management.

salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities, including scheduling shipments, arranging carriers, and tracking deliveries to ensure on-time arrival.

  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate logistics operations and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.

  • Optimize shipping routes and transportation modes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, delivery dates, and transportation costs.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment orders to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

  • Collaborate with warehouse and distribution teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to transportation and logistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics coordination or related role.

  • Solid understanding of transportation and logistics principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
